Wade & Sydney

Perry Georgia, Wedding Photographer

After days of non-stop rain and lot’s of prayer to keep it away, Wade & Sydney’s wedding day arrived with… you guessed it; no rain! Not even mud on the ground! And if you are from Georgia you know that this is a big deal because our Georgia red clay is very unforgiving when it comes to white weddings dresses. I am so amazing by how beautiful each and every detail was – only the best for this amazing couple!

I first met Wade at a youth camp that my husband plays music at. In fact…you absolutely have to check out Wade’s music. Their ceremony included music he wrote and it was incredible! I also have to brag on Sydney because she is the perfect girl for Wade! She is so down-to-earth and loves everything about nature! I mean….she majored in Earth and Space Science. So to see elements of them both tied into their wedding day was the perfect reflection of them. Even down to the paper butterflies and hand stitched music lyrics in frames. It could not have been more “Wade & Sydney”.

My ultimate favorite part of their day was their first look! Now, if you are unfamiliar with a first look…this is when the bride & groom create a special moment where they see each other before the wedding. It allows them to spend more of the day together and have their own private moment together. They were both so happy to see each other and I loved Wade’s reaction to seeing Sydney. She was seriously so stunning!

Everything about their backyard wedding was wonderful! Their ceremony was held at Wade’s grandparents property in the same spot where they got engaged. How sweet is that?! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their day!

Sydney added these flowers to her purple velvet shoes! So avant garde!

Seriously…could this not be the best location for a first look!? This was one of my favorite parts of their day.

Ceremony time! I am so impressed with their “no camera” sign. It really does make a big difference in their ceremony photos. Notice how nobody is holding a phone or camera 😉 Everyone giving them their undivided attention and support. Love!

Just to put into perspective how amazing Sydney is….here are the details she put together with the help of their family and friends. Vintage furniture rentals and church pews from their church. String lights and chandeliers in the trees. A handmade rope swing, made together by Sydney, her dad and Wade (almost a symbolic coming together as families). Hand picked colored glasses – pick your favorite one to use! Cupcakes and cake made by a close friend. And each colorful crocheted table piece was made by Sydney. She really deserves an award for diy wedding details!!

Congratulations Wade & Sydney! May your marriage always include joy, laughter and the very best that God has in store! We are so excited for you both and all the fun that the future holds. Marriage is the best and I know you are going to love this adventure! Much love! – Audrey
