The small town vibe of Marietta square was the perfect atmosphere for Kurt and Samantha’s engagement session. I know they love spending the weekend together doing something chill and being outside; so this location was great for them! We started their session at the square – and then headed to Kennesaw Mountain where Samantha found this amazing, overgrown field. So incredibly dream and romantic! And you would never guess it, but their engagement session was in the morning! Photography Pro Tip – morning light is beautiful and is a great way to beat the summer heat. We have FOSHO had the hottest/humid summer here in Georgia. So anything to cheat the heat and stay cool is always a given for summer photography clients.

I loved getting the chance to learn more about Kurt and Samantha during their session. This really becomes such a key tool in your photography experience – I know that once their wedding day arrives, i’ll be able to incorporate little things into their wedding photography from what I learned about them so far! Things like….they are completely pros at the “dipping” shot. Like seriously, we will totally be doing this at their wedding.
